IRGC Ground Force stages tactical drill in Kerman province





On November 21, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC ) Ground Force, comprising artillery, rockets, and rangers, conducted a tactical military exercise in Kerman province. The drill, attended by Major General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, aimed to assess the combat and defense readiness of the IRGC ground forces.


General Bagheri visited the mausoleum of Qassem Soleimani, who was assassinated in a U.S. strike in Iraq in January 2020. In homage, Bagheri stated that Soleimani’s legacy has motivated Palestinian resistance forces to oppose and defeat the Zionist regime".


During the exercise, General Baqeri highlighted the "inspiration drawn from Soleimani's legacy by the resistance forces in Palestine," emphasizing their determination to "confront and overcome the Zionist regime." He commented on the "Gaza crisis, stressing that the youth of Muslim countries and the "Axis of Resistance will not remain silent against perceived aggression."





Iranian officials maintain that the country will continue to bolster its military capabilities, particularly its missile power, "solely for defensive purposes;" these capabilities will not be subject to negotiations.
