Addressing Iranian Foreign Ministry officials and ambassadors in Tehran, Major General Muhammad Baqeri, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, stated that Iran is fully prepared to sell its defense equipment and share its military expertise with friendly countries. Emphasizing the potential for expanding defense relations and strengthening deterrence, Baqeri highlighted the readiness of the Iranian armed forces to enhance ties in various areas, including the wholesale export of defense and military equipment, training, exercises, and practical knowledge transfer.
Furthermore, Baqeri stressed the importance of cultivating relations with regional and neighboring nations, which he regarded as a precise policy of President Ebrahim Raisi's government. He reaffirmed that the Iranian armed forces are fully prepared to defend the country using indigenous strategies and policies, displaying Iran's determination to safeguard against any threats.
In line with this stance, Defense Minister Brigadier General Muhammad Reza Ashtiani affirmed that Iran imposes no restrictions on exporting military equipment to other nations, including Venezuela. Iranian officials have firmly stated that the country will continue to strengthen its military capabilities, including its missile power, with no intention of engaging in negotiations concerning its defense capabilities.
